Fall Picks Under $100

With tomorrow being September 1^st and fall weather just around the corner I’ve started some fall shopping! Above are some of my favorite pieces that are all under $100. Happy Shopping!

Healthy & Simple Mexican Stuffed Peppers

 

 

Servings: 8

Ingredients:

8 peppers (any color)

1 yellow onion (chopped)

2 cloves of garlic (diced)

1 lime

4 avocados

14.5oz can of diced tomatoes

6oz can of tomato paste

2 packets of taco seasoning

1lb grass-fed ground beef 

1lb ground turkey

½ tbsp of butter

salt

garlic powder

Directions:

1.)   Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2.)   In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt butter and add diced garlic. Once garlic has become fragrant add the yellow onion, turkey and beef. Cook until the turkey and beef are cooked through.

3.)   While the meat is cooking, cut the tops of the peppers off and remove the core and seeds. Dice four (4) of the tops and set aside.

4.)  Once the meat is cooked, drain and discard excess liquid. In the skillet over low heat combine the meat, diced tomato’s, tomato paste, taco seasoning (important: do not add water as instructed by the taco seasoning packet. The can of diced tomatoes will provide the liquid needed) and diced peppers. Stir until well combined.

5.)   Place hollowed out peppers in a large baking dish. Spoon mixture from the skillet into each pepper.

6.)   Place baking dish with the peppers in the oven and bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.

7.)  While peppers are baking, place scooped out avocados into a bowl. Crush and add salt and garlic powder to taste.

8.)   When peppers are done, serve with brown rice and a lime slice.

I love these Sbicca wedges! I’ve had these for a few years but you can still buy them online. I wore this outfit a couple of weeks ago for an evening out with Mikey for margaritas. The tank is from J.Crew and I bought it both black and white. They are great basic tanks. Also, I wear these sunglasses all the time and they are less than $10. I like to find cheap sunglasses I’m not worried about losing or breaking and these have been great.

With A Flare

I have been searching for a pair of flare jeans for about 6 months are I finally decided to buy these during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. I had never bought this brand jeans before so I was skeptical but I love them! And they were less than $40 during the sale. I also bought this scarf during the sale that is perfect for a transition into fall (although I’m not ready for fall yet!). The scarf is a very good quality! I have a feeling I am going to be wearing this outfit on repeat I like it so much!

Pink & Blue Summer Look

The random thing about this top is that I found it in the pajamas sections at Target! I got it with a pair of grey joggers to wear as PJs but ended up loving it and wearing it out. I have been very obsessed with pink this summer so it’s no surprise I loved this top. It so comfortable and comes a few different colors. I paired it with these teal earring that I borrowed from my mom. I love this color combo. Also, these jeans are a pair I bought from the Nordstrom Anniversary sale and I LOVE them! They are so comfortable.

I just got back from spending a week at the beach with my family and Mikey. It was a blast and the week flew by! We spent the week at Topsail Beach in North Carolina. Topsail Beach has become one of my family’s favorite places to visit.

O.M.G I love these pants! I have wanted distressed black skinnies for a while and I finally decided to buy these Topshop ones from Nordstrom and totally love them! The fit is great and I love the distressed knee’s. They are a thin material but a still very flattering. I also love the higher waist fit that they have. They also come in white.  This top is also on sale right now from a few different places! I wore this out to a wine Wednesday evening with friends last week. I also, added my jean jacket (typical) since I am always cold.

Pink Feet On Repeat

I have been completely obsessed with these pink Steve Madden sandals this summer! The ones I have are sold out but I have linked to another pair that is very similar. I have loved to wear them all summer and they have held up really well! I feel like my sandals are usually pretty worn out by the end of the summer but these have been great.

I cannot believe that it is already August! As much as I don’t want summer to end I have already been doing some shopping for fall. I'm going to be doing a post soon for a few of the new things I bought.
